FAQ

What diseases can be treated with palliative care?

Children’s palliative care services are available to children under the age of 18 with various life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses and their families.

By supporting families on a daily basis, we see what would significantly improve the quality of life of these children, parents, brothers, sisters, relatives and also society. Below you can get acquainted with current projects. We will be grateful for the opportunity to support any of these ideas.

Marika Ģederte
Patroness of the Children's Palliative Care Society, founder of the International College of Cosmetology
"I am in favor of balance in the family, because only strong mothers and strong dads can help children. If we can create these pleasant moments that can cheer them up for a short time, that's a great deal. Every child is lovable, entitled to childhood. Let us support and lend a hand to those who are in great need of this help. "
Ronelda Capadona
International School of Latvia
"One of our core values is caring, including providing support for those around us, and caring for those who are unable to take care of themselves. Giving gifts enriches us. Our children grow up with encouragement to help others and encouragement to share. I am so grateful to our families, children and teachers. on investing in and continuing this program for 22 years "
Marita Amrita Linuža
Volunteer
"Society can support palliative care families with their positive attitudes, not by fear, but by engagement. Being more open, more inclusive. Think about how each can get involved, how we can each do something good for each other."
